The sun control window films for Plexiglas offered here are designed exclusively for use on double-skin sheets, Macrolon and Plexiglas. There is a simple reason why you should only use this type on acrylic glazing: sun control window films for Plexiglas are made from a material which, just like the Plexiglas pane itself, contracts and expands to adapt to temperature changes. All other PET sun control window films for single and insulated glazing would tear in the long run if used on Plexiglas because they do not expand.
