Sun control window films are a topic that requires some consideration. As a first step we have to distinguish between application on single glazing and application on insulated glazing. The latter refers to double or triple glass window panes. To avoid thermal stress a corresponding film should be applied to insulated glazing. With a few exceptions this can even be done from the inside (those films are marked accordingly).
